Your next step, practised
Walk into your interview
with a clearer answer.
Practise relevant questions, build examples from your own experience and get useful feedback. Start with a warm-up or try a full mock interview.
A useful example can come from work, study, volunteering, sport or caring for someone. We help you explain what you did and what you learned.
Choose a role, answer one question at a time and improve an example in your own words.
Make practice useful
How should I structure an example?
Use four short notes: situation (what was happening), task (what needed to happen), action (what you personally did), and result (what happened or what you learned). Keep details true and relevant.
What if this is my first job?
Examples from study, a community activity, sport, volunteering or caring responsibilities can show teamwork, reliability and problem solving. Choose the beginner option for extra prompts.
Are these the employer’s interview questions?
These are independent practice questions. They help you prepare skills and examples; they are not a promise of what an employer will ask or a prediction of a hiring decision.
You choose what to share
Guided practice runs in your browser. Optional AI coaching sends your answer, selected experience and relevant role information only when you ask for coaching. Review your selection first and leave out contact details or sensitive information.
Saving practice, examples and progress on this device is optional. Use the tool’s clear controls to remove saved practice, and avoid saving it on a shared device.
How do voice features work?
Voice typing starts only when you choose it and grant permission. Your browser’s speech service may process audio. You can review and edit the transcript before requesting feedback. Reading a question aloud uses your browser’s available speech voices. Typing is always available.
